We do Bam-Bou

Bam-Bou, Percy Street, Fitzrovia, London

“Live music has given an extra dimension to Bam-Bou’s charm. We’re very happy with the variety and atmosphere Wheathill artists provide. It all adds to luxurious surrounding.”

Marjolein van den Ing

Spread over four storeys of an elegant Georgian townhouse in the heart of chic Fitzrovia, Bam-Bou has the feel and charm of an exclusive members club... but it welcomes all for delectable drinks and frankly awesome southeast Asian food.

The space

Two handsome dining rooms, three private rooms and a top-floor cocktail bar add up to a hidden gem minutes from the bustle of Oxford Street. And it holds a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2013, so there’s no need to just take our word for it.

Bam-Bou's exotic charm is matched by a colourful history. By 1913, it gained notoriety with Ezra Pound and his fellow Vorticists and continues to attract a cosmopolitan clientèle drawn from the media and advertising professionals of Charlotte Street and adventurous diners from all over London.

The sounds

Wheathill artists perform every Thursday from 7.30pm in the top-floor cocktail bar. A hideaway haven which still feels like an insider’s secret. Start your weekend early and enjoy a rolling programme of alluring vocals, guitar and acoustic strings.
